We are now in SYDNEY!!

Well, we spent a week in the hostel in Auckland....a lot of it in the room as the weather was a bit crap. We saw museums, lots of shopping, walking, eating!! We went out on a friday night, had a few happy hour beers (5) then headed back to The K' Road where we live. Ended up cahtting to some nice people, ended up in a gay bar where we met Zoe and Libra the Drag Queens who then took us to Family, gay club dwon the road!! I LOVED IT (Polly). Finalloy some dancing for the first time in 2 1/2 months!!

The downside was the 2 day hangover that followed.....that was bad. NZ beer does something to your body that I have never experienced before.....

But then on the 25th we were offf from the creepyist hostel ever!!! (Another story).

Good 3 hour flight to Aussie, not bad weather but the Aussie's said it was cold for this time off year boo!!
Got to our hostel, Noah's, right on Bondi Beach.....a bit scanky bit we unpacke and went exploring....the waether picked up so i feel a tan coming on finally!!

As the evening progressed we discovered that the hostel was a dive....dirty, small kitchen, nasty toilets and showers...and we were kept up all night by loud drunken idiots.

First thing in the morning we found alternative accomadation called Lamrock Lodge. A bit more expensive but better that the last hole. We got our refund and settled in ....again.

We have been to the Zoo in the sunshine which was cool, but Peter was a bit disappointed by the lack of snake and crocodile action, hanged out by the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.....not blown away by them (better in the sun than in the cloud though). Walked along the beach which is on the doorstep, had nice food of which there is TOO MUCH, with not enough dollar to pay for it!

A couple of storms today which is handy as we are running out of money already to pay for all the activities....so we are going to the cinema to see James Bond!!

We will be putting pics on soon I hope.....as we are coming to the end of our adventures.

Last week

Well, what can I say.

We met up with Peter's friend Tomas and his friends and we have been re-doing Northland. We went right to the top this time to Cape Reinga and did sand surfing on the sandunes!!

We revisitied The Farm and stayed there....we have been to a few new places but the weather has been a bit rubbish so lots of driving! We saw the BIGGEST Kauri trees as well....so unbelievably huge man!!

We are heading back to Auckland tomorrow....back to the same hostel because we were going to sell the car.....but now we are selling it to the fellow Slovakians so we have a week in Aucklnad to fill.....VERY EXCITED to be staying in the same place,, walking EVERYWHERE and generally chilling. So it should be nice. Preparing for Sydney as well....toppping up the tan....you know...the usual stuff!! Back to a city (nice for Polly).

We will be putting the last of the NZ pics on during the week as we have lots of time and hopefully some modern computers!!

So see you all soon!! xxxx

We are back in Orewa

We are now back above Auckland again.....having done the East Cape, Bay of Plenty and The Coromandel in about 4 days.

The weather was a BIG dissapointment much to our suprise as everyone raved about how nice it would be up there.

It was all very pretty with lots of lovely beaches and bays....Hot water Beach was lovely but we missed the hot water part....then it rained. Catherdral Cove was pretty amazing....accept for the MILLION tourists and the rain.

We got to Coromandel Town and decided to head back North to Auckland as Peter's friend has just arrived and we are going to meet him in about 30 mins......SOMEONE WE ACTUALLY KNOW!!! Will be very strange but will make a change.

Just confirmed our last week in Auckland....same backpacker's as before so we can HOPEFULLY sell the car for some decent money.

Also confirmed our 2 weeks in Sydney....on Bondi Beach I may add!!

It wants to be nice weather or I will forever believe that people from Australasia are lying about the hot weather as we have not seen any of it yet!

Love
